1. I've never done that before.(나는 그걸 해본적이 없어.)

A: I've never done that before.

B: Oh, really? What is it exactly that you haven't done?

A: Well, I've never been skydiving.

 

2. Let me put it this way.(이렇게 설명해볼게.)

A: I'm having trouble explaining my perspective on this matter.

B: I understand. Let me put it this way.

    Imagine you're in a boat, and the river represents the flow of ideas and opinions.

    Each person's viewpoint is like a different current in that river.

3. That explains it.(그래서 그랬구나.)

A: I can't figure out why the car won't start.

B: Let me take a look. Ah, I see what the problem is.

    The battery is completely dead.

A: That explains it. I forgot to turn off the headlights last night.

 

4. Can we start over?(우리 (대화 또는 상황)다시 시작해볼까?)

A: I’m sorry for what I said yesterday. I was angry and frustrated.

B: I understand, but you really hurt my feelings.

A: Can we start over? I don’t want to lose your friendship.

B:  Okay, let’s start over.

 

5. Don't get me wrong.(오해하지마.)

A: I think we should try a different approach for this project.   

B: Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your suggestion, but I believe our current strategy is the most effective.
