A: Have you heard about the new smartphone that just came out?

B: Yeah, it's been getting a lot of buzz lately.

    People are praising its advanced features and sleek design.

*advanced features : 고급 기능

*sleek design : 세련된 디자인

 

2.  I notice that too.(나도 그거 알아.)

A: It seems like everyone is talking about the new restaurant downtown.

B: Yes, I noticed that too. It's been getting a lot of buzz lately.

    We should check it out sometime.

 

3.   It's ridiculously high!(가격이 말도 안되게 높아.)

A: Did you see the cost of the latest flagship smartphone?

B: No, how much is it?

A: It's ridiculously high!

    They're asking for $2,000 for the base model!

 

4. How can I put this?(이걸 어떻게 말해야 되나?)

A: I need to talk to you about something sensitive.

B: Sure, go ahead. What is it?

A: Well, how can I put this?

    I think it's time we take a break from our relationship.

 

5. It was really awkward.(완전 뻘쭘했어.)

A: I accidentally called my teacher "mom" in class today.

B: Oh no, that must have been embarrassing! How did you handle it?

A: Yeah, it was really awkward.

    I quickly corrected myself, but everyone had a good laugh about it.
