1.  We're running out of time.(우리는 시간이 별로 없어.)

A: Hey, have you finished preparing the presentation?

B: No, not yet. We're running out of time.

    Could you help me gather the data?

 

2.  What's that supposed to mean?(그게 무슨 뜻이야?)

A: I think we should consider changing our marketing strategy for this product.

B: What's that supposed to mean?

A: Our current approach doesn't seem to be generating the desired results.

*generate : 만들다. 생성하다. 생산하다.

*desired results: 원하는 결과 

 

3. I didn't do it on purpose.(일부러 그러지 않았어.)

A: Hey, I noticed you accidentally broke my favorite vase.

B: I'm so sorry! I didn't do it on purpose.

A: It's alright, accidents happen. Just be more careful next time, okay?

 

4. I can't afford it.(난 경제적으로 그거 감당못해.)

A: Have you seen the new smartphone model? It looks amazing!

B: Yes, it does, but I can't afford it.

A: Oh, I understand. It can be quite expensive.

 

5. I'm not myself today.(나 오늘 제정신 아니야.)

A: You seem a bit off today. Is everything okay?

B: Yeah, I'm not myself today. I didn't get much sleep last night.
