1.  Can you catch me up on what happened while i was away.(내가 없는 동안 무슨일이 있었는지 알려줄래?)

A: Hey, welcome back! How was your trip?

B: Thanks! It was amazing. But I feel like I've missed out on a lot.

     Can you catch me up on what happened while I was away?

A: Of course! Well, first of all, there was a big company meeting where they announced some changes in the organization.

 

2. nothing groundbreaking.(새롭지 않아.)

A: Have you heard about the new album by that popular band?

B: Yeah, I listened to it, but honestly, it was nothing groundbreaking.

     It sounded like their previous work.

 

3. Been there seen that.(이미 봤어.)

A: Hey, have you been to the new art exhibition downtown?

B: Yeah, been there, seen that. It was pretty underwhelming, to be honest.

A: Oh, really? I heard it received rave reviews from critics.

B: Well, the artworks were nice, but it felt like I've seen similar styles and themes before. 

    Nothing groundbreaking.

4. Been there done that.(이미 해봤어.)

A: I'm thinking of going skydiving this weekend. Have you ever tried it?

B: Oh, been there, done that. Skydiving is an exhilarating experience!

     You should definitely go for it.

*exhilarating : 흥분되는, 아주 기분좋은

 

5. That explains it.(그래서 그래.)

A: Why is the internet connection so slow today?

     I can't even load a simple webpage.

B: Well, there's a major outage in the area. That explains it.

*outage : 일시적인 서비스 중단
